April 24 Birthdays

So today is my birthday. What do you make of someone who shares a birthday with Shirley MacLaine and Barbra Streisand? I couldn't be more different than those two.

I had a surprise celebration on Saturday and my wife planned a very special time with friends old and new. She put together a slideshow (with great assistance from MW) which brought me to tears and I will forever cherish. And she had a lot of help from others as well. Thanks everyone for making it possible.

Is it April 1st?? Am I living some kind of dream right now?? No, it seems the reality is Trek is coming back being helmed by a dream team. J. J. Abrams, creator of some of my favorite TV series, Alias and Lost, is co-writing, producing and directing a new Star Trek movie. Damon Lindelof from Lost is part of the production team as well. All I have to say is "Wow"!!

My first car to drive was a white VW Rabbit. I delivered a lot of papers using it. Nice to see it's rebirth. I never like "Golf" as a car name.
