Co-opting the Future

Is Dvorak right? Are blogs dead? Or are some people listening to bloggers more than Dvorak? I agree there are a lot of abandoned blogs. But there are also a lot of abandoned web sites. Does that mean personal web sites not maintained by "big" media are dead? I think the Internet show otherwise. People with always have their interests and write/blog about it, Dvorak notwithstanding.
