Let's Make a Deal Demonstration
On Friday, the TV show Numb3rs had the math professor Charlie teaching a "Math for Non-Mathematicians" class. He spelled out a statistical probability problem which is very basic but intuitively seems to give you an answer which is not correct. It took a little thinking on my part and then some convincing of my Dad for two of us to be on board.
