Perhaps it's just me, but I don't trust a company to refrain from harvesting information about my data for profit. Especially a free service... Too wide open.

Good observation. I definitely wouldn't put personal information in the "locker" but it might suffice as temporary holding place for program files needed from time to time (since I do support, this is my use) or other generic uses. Definitely read the legalese before signing up.
